Wild Weather Juried Art Show

 

Rainy season, storms, snow, turbulent weather and winds, flash floods, storm clouds, the aftermath!


Call Description
Painting and Photography categories are open to members of Mountain Artists Guild (MAG) in good standing and non-members.

Online In-take Deadline
Start anytime and up until 5:00pm, August 19, 2021

Entry Fees 
Members: $20 non-refundable fee; pay by credit card on this site. 
Non-members: $35 non-refundable fee; pay by credit card on this site.

Categories (up to 3 paintings or photographs or a combination)

1.     Original Fine Art (oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, mixed media)
2.     Original and digitally-enhanced photography 

NOTE: 3-dimensional art and jewelry should be entered in person at Mountain Artists Guild on August 19 and 20 using the Intake form on the Home page of the website: www.mountainartistsguild.org. Framed and unframed prints of paintings, other printed items such as tote bags, pouches, mugs, etc. should also be listed on the Intake form.

All entries will be juried after Intake. Members are guaranteed one submission in each show. Accepted entries will be judged and ribbons will be awarded for each category.

Members who enter this show are responsible for handling (packaging) and shipping of items sold should they be purchased from the online web gallery.

Entry Instructions
Entries for this Competition must be uploaded to an art show site called ArtCall.org. Use this link to log on, sign up for an account and upload your art work.  
1.     Images of artwork should have no background/frame visible and artwork under glass should show no reflections.
2.     Images must represent the work accurately.                                                                             
3.     Images should be in JPG or PNG file format.
4.     The maximum file size for uploading is 4MB. If your image file size is greater than this, use a photo or image editing program to reduce the size of the image before uploading.
5.     The Gallery Committee reserves the right to reject artwork that is not photographed correctly and reflects poorly on the artist and MAG.
